Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Food so good I took a photo. Very helpful, friendly service - they made room for us even though it was very busy and we had no reservation. To be fair it was Monday lunchtime and we didn’t think we’d need one, but it speaks to the popularity as it was packed. Our waiter was devastated that we only ordered one dish each, but we were on a schedule. Highly recommended and would love to visit again with more time!"
"Best food, especially the cod and the duck perfectly cooked, perfectly served. Went back in three days because it was so good."
"Excellent food and wine! Especially the meat was fantastic. Can also recommend all the starters, try the scallops - absolutely divine. After dessert, you can taste some nice digestif on the house."
"I asked for local specialities and I am really glad I did. Recommend the goats cheese, mushrooms and chick peas."
"La comida era per fantastica! The food and everything else was fantastic!"
"After five years since the last visit, I was afraid that the quality of the restaurant was not going to be the same. Luckily, the food was great, and the service too."
"Old style bar. Please, make yourself a favor and order whatever.. and Zamburiñas with alioli. (Zamburiña is kind of of large clam, 8 units per order). Exquisite. We took the picture After we tried them and I wanted them to adopt and life with them the rest of my life."
"First time carpaccio eater. Delicious. Walking the Camino Frances, and stopped in Leon for a day or two. Learned 2 things: no menu del dia on Saturdays, and make a reservation. (Oh, and hat carpaccio is raw beef!)"
